2# Quick Tip

       If you don’t have access to a steam room, you can make one at home for your face. Fill a bowl more or less the size of your face with boiling water and place your head over it and cover it and the bowl with a tower. Stay like this for at least five minutes and this will open your pores and expel all the impurities. If you want, you can add lavender oil or lemon juice to the water. If you have acne or scars, lemon will lighten them and lavender is great for oily skin as it also works as an antibacterial and antifungal. On the other hand, if you have dry skin you can add a bit of rose oil to hydrate it.

When doing this, be careful not to touch the boiling water or you will burn your skin.

Vidal Sassoon - A Great Hairstylist

A month ago dyed Vidal Sassoon, the man who started promoting the "wash and wear" philosophy in the beginning of the 60s. He once said in an interview that "Women were going back to work, they were assuming their own power, they didn't have time to sit under the dryer anymore.". So to make this possible he cut women hair in a a way that it was low maintenance. Sassoon was known for his geometric hairstyles and was the pioneer of the modern bob and the pixie haircut.

Há um mês, morreu Vidal Sassoon, o homem que deu inicio à filosofia "wash and wear" no inicio da década de 60. Uma vez disse numa entrevista que "As mulheres estavam a voltar a trabalhar, estavam a assumir o seu próprio poder, já não tinham tempo para se sentarem debaixo de um secador". Por isso, para tornar isto possivel, o cabeleireiro começõu a cortar o cabelo de forma a que fosse fácil de o manter arranjado. Sassoon também era conhecido pelos seus penteados geométricos e foi ele que começõu com o Bob moderno e com o corte a que chamamos Pixie.

♡ Inspiration - Medium to Long Haircuts ♡

Hi Girls!
My hair really needs a hair cut because the ends are becoming really dry and I have been getting way too many split ends. So I'm thinking of chopping my hair a bit more than usual but not too much because a) Short hair does not look good on me and b) because it has to have enough length for me to be able to do braids and other hairstyles that I've been trying out.
So this pictures are some cool hair styles I've  come across in the search for the perfect one. I didn't find it though, although I know I want something similar to number 6 and 12. Do you think I should cut it like that? What your favorite?

Preciso de ir ao cabeleireiro urgentemente! Estou a ficar com muitas pontas espigadas e secas. Mas desta vez nao vou cortar só as pontas, estou a pensar em cortar o cabelo de forma a ficar entre os ombros e o busto. Mas não vou cortar mais porque a) nao me fica bem e b) porque quero que tenha cumprimento suficiente para eu poder fazer traças e outros penteados que eu tenho tentado ultimamente.

Estas fotos são de cortes que vi e gostei mas nenhum é exactamente como eu quero. Estou a pensar cortar de forma a ficar algo entre a foto numbero 6 e a numero 12. Que acham? Qual é o vosso corte preferido?

Hairstyles - Braided Updo

I girls! If you follow me on Twitter you know that I was going to a communion and that I had planned on doing this hairstyle. So here it is the final product! It wasn't exactely as I wanted it to be because the necklace that I had put in the braid didn't show much, but overall I was very happy with it, and proud of my self for being able to do it! Do you like it? If so, I might do some more in the future!

Olá meninas! Se me seguem no Twitter saberão que eu fui à comunhão do meu primo e que eu tinha olaneado levar este penteado. Portanto, como prometido, aqui está o produto final! Não ficou exactamente como eu queria, porque o colar que tinha posto na trança quase nao se notou (só o que eu pus à volta o penteado), mas no eral gostei muito de como ficou e fiquei orgulhosa de o ter conseguido fazer, visto que sou nova nisto! Que acham? Gostam? Se gostarem, talvez faça mais posts destes no futuro!

Hi Girls,
From now on, every Tuesday, I'm going to give you one tip I've learned during the years.

This one will be very useful when buying a foundation. Check the veins on your wrist in natural lighting. If your veins appear more blue, then you're cool toned. If they appear green, then you're warm toned.
I'm a little bit in-between but still I'm more warm toned. What about you?

Como prometido aqui estão quatro maneiras de se usar um casaco de couro. A razão porque escolhi um casaco de couro preto foi porque esta cor dá para usar o ano todo e é perfeita para contrastar com as cores mais vibrantes ou claras dos looks que criei, e também para lhes dar um ar menos de feminino. No entanto, também se usam bastante esta temporada, os casacos de couro brancos, que também são muito giros.

As promised, here are four ways to wear a leather jacket. The reason I chose a black leather jacket in this pairing was that this color can be worn all year round. Also, it contrasts with the vibrant or pastel colour I've chosen for the looks and toughens them up. However you can also use a white one as it's very trendy this season.
